Why these games survive a dead signal
Most “offline games” are online games with a grace period: they load without signal until they need an ad, a sync or a server check, and then they stall. Gameyard’s seven solo games are built the other way around. Candy Rush, Unpinned and Block Party install whole — every level lives on the device. And The Dailies, the part you would expect to need the internet, doesn’t: each day’s four puzzles are generated on the phone from your local calendar date.
No account, no login, no fetch. The same four puzzles everyone else gets today appear on your phone in a tunnel, at a campsite, or four hours into a flight when your local date quietly rolls over. Your streak is stored on the device too, so it survives whatever your connection doesn’t.
THE HONEST TEST
Flip on airplane mode and wait for midnight. The Dailies roll over anyway — that is the whole feature in one gesture.
How to play offline
Download Gameyard once, on WiFi. That is the last time the games need a connection.
The whole solo set is now on the device: three puzzle-arcade games and the daily puzzle engine.
The Dailies roll over on your local date, signal or not — the same puzzles as every other player that day.
Your streak is stored on the phone. Land, resurface, or get signal back and nothing has been lost.
What offline looks like
The Unpinned corkboard mid-unpin, a Block Party run, and the day’s word grid — all running with no connection at all.

Download once. Play anywhere.
All seven solo games are free. iOS and Android.
Fair questions.
More ways to play alone
Not on your own tonight? Party games for the room, or couples games for exactly two.
