One ritual, four different kinds of thinking

Most daily games give you one puzzle and one flavour of difficulty. The Dailies gives you four, deliberately unalike. The Daily Yard is verbal — sixteen tiles hiding four groups of four, and four mistakes before it reveals itself. VIP Seating is spatial deduction on an 8×8 floor. Conga is a single unbroken path through every tile. Mixer is binary logic on a bar shelf. Fifteen minutes across the four and you have used four separate parts of your head.

Every set is the same for every player worldwide, keyed to your own local calendar date rather than a server clock — so nobody west of Greenwich loses a streak day to a timezone. Clear all four and the day counts twice: a day streak and a perfect streak, both stored on the phone.

THE HABIT

Open the Solo tab and the day’s ring reads 0/4. Four chips — Yard, VIP, Conga, Mixer — and a number that goes up. That ring is the entire retention mechanic, and it is free.

How the day works

Open the Solo tab. The Dailies card shows the day’s number and a 0/4 progress ring.

Play the four in any order: Yard, VIP, Conga, Mixer. Each takes a few minutes.

Clear all four to grow both streaks — the day streak and the perfect streak.

What is a good daily puzzle game?

One that varies the kind of thinking it asks for. The Dailies in Gameyard is four daily puzzles in one: The Daily Yard (word-grouping), VIP Seating (region logic), Conga (path-tracing) and Mixer (balanced-grid). One new set every day, the same for every player, free on iOS and Android.

Are there free daily puzzle games?

Yes. All four of Gameyard’s daily puzzles are free and never behind the paywall, along with the three other solo games. The subscription covers ad removal and access to the puzzle archive — never a game itself.

Is there a daily logic puzzle?

Three of the four are logic puzzles. VIP Seating is region deduction — one VIP per row, column and zone, none touching. Conga is a single path through every tile. Mixer is a balanced binary grid. The fourth, The Daily Yard, is a word puzzle.

Do daily puzzles reset at midnight?

They roll over on your own local calendar date, not a server’s. That means the day changes when it changes for you, wherever you are, and the puzzles are generated on the phone — so a lost signal never costs you the day.
