First Date Questions and Games
The default first date is a mutual job interview: where you work, where you're from, what you do for fun. It tells you almost nothing about whether you'd like each other.
Compatibility isn't revealed by biographical facts — it's revealed by how someone reacts, what they find funny, and whether the pauses feel comfortable. A light game short-circuits the CV exchange and produces that information much faster. The key is keeping it playful; a first date is the wrong place for anything intense.
Offer it as a joke, not a plan. 'This is going to sound stupid but—' lands far better than presenting a structured activity on a first date.

Ones that invite a story rather than a fact. 'What's the worst haircut you've ever had' produces more real information about someone than 'what do you do', because you learn how they tell a story and whether they can laugh at themselves. Save anything heavy for later dates.
